Leadership Grow
Our Leadership Grow Program provides high school juniors with a unique opportunity to hear directly from Palm Beach County leaders and understand the critical issues facing Palm Beach County. Participants learn important leadership skills, connect with their community and strengthen their involvement in their schools and in their county.
Students in the nine-month Grow program connect with government, business and civic leaders while building real-life skills including public speaking and resume writing. Program participants explore all aspects of Palm Beach County, from the studios at Channel 25, the kitchens at the Breakers, and the agricultural lands in the Glades. They see how the county operates and see the power they possess to create positive change.
Leadership Grow class members meet one day a month for their Session Days, which are planned by a dedicated group of Leadership Palm Beach County alumni. Approximately 50 high school juniors who represent the diversity of Palm Beach County’s school system are accepted.
Students who complete the Grow Program graduate into a thriving group of alumni who are better prepared for the world ahead of them with the skills to influence the future direction of Palm Beach County. The Grow program is offered at no cost to students throughout Palm Beach County.
